Book Clubs
About our Book Clubs
Our book clubs are designed to be casual meeting activities for our homeschoolers. Each week, students will have a reading goal that will align with our conversation topics for that week. Students are welcome to read beyond the goal, however please ensure that they do not provide “spoilers” during the discussion.
Meetings will take place during library or park meetups. Students are encouraged to arrive early for the book club as we will start promptly on time. Attendance is not required, and students are welcome to just “read along” or only attend certain dates.
Each book club (listed below) operates independently so one will conclude before the next one begins. In addition to each weely discussion, on the last week of the last book for each independent club, we will have a wrap up Jeopardy-style competition and small party. It is highly encouraged, though not required, that students attend.
